Matthew Liptak was born and raised in Ohio, went to college in upstate New York, and now resides in Washington DC. 

In 2011, Liptak received his BFA (Highest Honors) in Fine Art Photographic Illustration with a minor in Writing from The Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. 

He currently works full-time as an Art Director for the Truth Initiative's "truth" marketing campaign. He also designs theatrical sets for community theaters across the DMV.
